The Company was founded by George M Comas in 1953, then joined by his son
Matthew J Comas in 1986.

Matthew Comas is the now the President of the Company. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Then proceeded to the University of Hartford located in Connecticut. Mr. Comas majored in principle of insurance and risk management. After completion Mr. Comas then obtained additional education at the lnternational School of Commerce. Mr Comas has a double major in accounting and insurance risk services.

Mr. Comas has won several awards from the Continental lnsurance Company and the Travelers lnsurance Company. This was obtained by the time Mr. Comas turned 32 and was given Tower Agent And Circle Agent Status. He has attended the schools of both Continental and Travelers.

ln 1993, Mr. Comas was made an exclusive agent by the National Solid Waste Association out of Washington DC along with Sedgewick James in Camp Hill Pa. for the New Jersey region. This was accomplished at age 36. The exclusive still holds and is now part of Environmental lnsurance Association. Mr. Comas is the 5th largest Broker in the United States that handles solid waste insurance for private companies.
